C'était la chanson préférée de ma mère.
your mother sure had delicate taste ... i hope this is THE sinatra version she preferred: a masterpiece of elegance, in singing and in saying goodbye to an old friend, axel stordahl, for his last arrangement of an old sinatra standard he had arranged years ago with tommy dorsey, comes this fabulous "new" version of "i'll be seeing you" .... this was to be frank sinatra's 1961 very last record for capitol (issued in 1962) ... remember all these songs at these two 1961 session were recorded in just one take (at the most, two takes), and that each session lasted hardly more than one hour each ... isn't that class, now?
